Description
There are two types of elephant: the Indian elephant and the African elephant. The African elephant has much larger ears than the Indian elephant. Elephants use their trunks and tusks to dig deep holes in search of water during the dry season. Elephants feed exclusively on plants, e.g. hay, green fodder, leaves, tree bark, roots and fruit. They eat around 170kg of fresh plants per day. Their water requirement of 100 litres per day is very high and essential for survival. The PVC-free play figure from Bullyland is approx. 16.5 cm tall and is hand-painted true to life. Awarded the spiel gut seal of approval. Age: from 3 years.
