Description
The blue-ringed octopus, also known as the blue-ringed octopus, is found in the shallow coastal areas of Australia, New Guinea, Indonesia and the Philippines. They are often found close to the shore, where they hunt for crabs. The venomous octopuses owe their name to the particularly intense colouring they take on when threatened. When in danger, they display fluorescent blue rings that contrast strongly with the yellow of the rest of their body. The play figure from Bullyland measures approx. 13 cm and is hand-painted with many details. Age: from 3 years.
