Male domestic cattle are called bulls. Cattle are herd animals and live outdoors in summer. They eat and digest almost all day long. They spend the winter in warm stables where they are fed hay and grain. Cattle eat more than 50 kg of grass a day and can drink up to 180 litres of water.
