Description
The female domestic chicken is called a hen or hen. The red comb and the throat flaps on the head are typical of these animals. The hen lays 250 - 300 eggs per year. The development from the egg cell to the yolk ball and the finished egg with egg white and shell takes 24 hours. Domestic hens are birds that live on the ground most of the time. They cannot fly particularly well, but they can run all the faster. They can also only see well close up. They can no longer recognise anything more than 50 metres away. Chickens eat plants, meat, fish, grains, insects and worms. Domestic chickens usually live outside in the meadow. At night, they need a coop where they are protected from their enemies and the cold. The PVC-free play figure from Bullyland is approx. 5.5 cm tall and is hand-painted true to life. Awarded the spiel gut seal of approval. Age: from 3 years.
