Description
Chimpanzees are our closest relatives in the animal kingdom. The behaviour of humans and animals is very similar. The chimpanzee is considered to be the most intelligent animal. For example, they use stones and pieces of wood as hammers, branches with which they poke for food or chewed leaves as sponges. Unfortunately, chimpanzees cannot speak. Nevertheless, the animals have been taught a kind of sign language in zoos, which they can use to communicate with animal keepers. The animals are very active during the day. They live on the ground and in trees. They can skilfully shimmy from branch to branch with their hands. Chimpanzees are omnivores. They mainly eat leaves, flowers, fruit, seeds and nuts. But they also eat insects and caterpillars. The PVC-free play figure from Bullyland measures approx. 11.5 cm and is realistically hand-painted. Age: from 3 years.
