Description
The collared iguana, which owes its name to the striking markings on its neck, is native to rocky arid regions in Mexico and the south-west of the USA. Collared iguanas are very sociable members of their species and are mostly diurnal. In winter, they hibernate for two to three months. The males are often more colourful and strikingly patterned than the females. The male collared iguana from Bullyland measures approx. 12 cm in length and is hand-painted in great detail. Age: from 3 years.
